His father Sri Akbar Singh was Raghuvamshi, he had three children and
Kinaram was the eldest one. He was too
devoted to Lord Rama from the early years of childhood, whenever time permits;
he engages in Rambhajan with his friends.
He was grown up as Vairagin from childhood. Those days the practice of childhood marriages
were very common, Kinaram has to agree for marriage at the age of 12 due to the
constant pressure from the parents.
After three years of marriage, it was decided to bring the child bride
to home, previous day of journey he asked his mother to feed with the sweet
rice cooked in milk, mother got very angry and said “ You have to bring the
bride tomorrow, are you asking me to prepare sweet rice with milk?” There was a practice of consuming this sweet
milk rice after any inauspicious event like death. Kinaram was adamant; finally, his mother had
to feed him with the milk rice. The house
was all prepared to bring the child bride, the next day a message arrived from the
house of the bride that she was expired.
His mother could not control tears, she lamented over the death of her
daughter-in-law saying “ This boy is too adamant, who will eat this sweet rice
cooked in milk on this auspicious hours,” Kinaram said “ Mother, I ate the
sweet rice only after her death. It was not before her death, if you don’t have
faith upon me, ask father. She died
yesterday evening. I ate the milk
rice in the night.” Gradually, the news
spread all over the village that he was aware of the death of his wife in
advance. They were surprised how Kinaram came to know about the death of his
wife. After this incident, once again
his parents decided to find a suitable bride for Kinaram, but he was strictly
refused to marry. The family put extreme
pressure on him to get married soon and settle in his life. This made him leave home forever, in
search of supreme consciousness which is the highest of knowledge.
